  • 🛻 These Stupid Trucks are Literally Killing Us - The ever-awesome Not Just Bikes points out the absolute ridiculousness of America’s obsession with the giant vehicle. My in-laws give me us a hard time because I bought my son a cute little Honda Fit instead of a tank-sized vehicle for commuting to school. (dunno, but I think it’s a mistake to give an oversized vehicle to an new driver 🤷🏽‍♂️) And wonder how my wife will get down our occassionally muddy lane in her Subaru Impreza. (someone got stuck in it driving their supersized Ram 1500; she has not had a single issue) And when my Hyundai Sonata meets its end eventually, I’ll likely looking for something smaller and, depending on how the infrastructure buildout goes here in my neck of the woods Nebraska, perhaps electric. Would honestly love to drop them all and ebike it everywhere, but that’s unfeasible with where we currently are and the distance between pretty much everything. Or maybe we’ll just move to somewhere not so goddamn backwards and remote it. 🤔
  • 🛶 Small boats: Sunak to outline plan to stop migrant crossings - I see the UK continues it’s emulation of the worst instincts of its old colony in trying to keep out them scary brown people. 🙄
  • ⛪️ Future Pope John Paul II allowed priest to return to work after child sex abuse conviction - Perhaps that sainthood was a wee bit premature.
  • 🔥🏳️‍🌈 Institut für Sexualwissenschaft - Hmmm, sounds familiar. Same tired unsubstantiated arguments against the diversity of humanity. The question is if we allow it to continue to progress down this idiotic path.
  • ⚡️🚗 How Norway Can Help Cure America’s Range Anxiety” - Once again, if we can only get out of our own way and attempt to learn a little bit about how other nations accomplish things, we could actually create a sustainable future.
